At GoldySmiff there is a wide range of repair services available. We work with precious jewellery, fashion and costume. Every item that is brought to us is treated with the utmost care and respect. GoldySmiff is also able to supply wedding rings and custom create wedding sets.

Our services include chain repairs, clasps, ring sizing, earrings, bead stringing, polish/cleaning, remodelling and bespoke creation. We also offer at home consultations and in person collection and repairs should it be needed.

Chains and Necklaces
Chains can be repaired if they have been broken, or if they need new clasps. At GoldySmiff we can supply new clasps and solder breaks depending on the metal type. Extra jump rings can also be sourced and fitted to adjust chain lengths or if any need replacing.
Ring Sizing
GoldySmiff offers ring sizing on silver, gold and platinum rings. This service can be complicated depending on the ring. If it has gemstones they need to be protected and some metals also require a plating service which is an extra cost. For all ring sizing an initial assessment is carried and an appropriate 'care plan' will be drawn up for the best results.
Earrings
Earrings are a fun piece of jewellery that showcase your personality. We are able to do a variety of repairs including earring posts, changing types of fittings, earring backs, and recreating earrings to match a lost one.
Beading and Stringing
Bead and pearl necklaces are a timeless jewellery item and deserve to be maintained and treasured. GoldySmiff can restring most necklaces and bracelets and as part of the service all clasp components will be cleaned and polished if required.
Cleaning and Polishing
Jewellery is meant to be worn and enjoyed but this does mean it needs some maintenance from time to time. If you have any items that need a little shine up and sparkle we can provide a cleaning service starting from £15. Multiple items can be put together and reduce the overall cost.
Remodelling
Unfortunately over enough time all jewellery reaches a point where it cannot be repaired. In this instant GoldySmiff has the capability to deconstruct and remake. We can melt majority of metals and use it to create a new piece. Jewellery can be remade into the same design or a new one can be created for your own needs. We can also take multiple items then design and create something using different elements.
